ABOUT OUR REGENERATIVE FARM

We are a small-scale regenerative market garden practicing Biodynamic principles and growing a diverse rainbow of crops.

We are an open and family friendly farm, growing food and offering experiences for people of all ages to learn about caring for soil and growing food regeneratively.

We started our farming journey knowing nothing, with no prior experience, just a dream to turn a degraded paddock into a thriving community farm. We hope when people visit they can take a away some inspiration and belief that if we can do it, anyone can!

We believe that when we care for the soil, the soil nurtures us with more tasty and nutritious food.

And we trust that creating a community and family focused space to experience regenerative growing and tasting can drive meaningful social and environmental change.

We are 100% local and are certified by Mornington Peninsula Produce cert #068

Here’s a little farm tour from ABC 7 Reporter Christie Cooper to give you a feel:

  • The market garden at Waves farm was originally called “Infinity Farm” at The Revillaging Project.

Josh started the farm with Ramana Dean, a Steiner Teacher and aspiring farmer, as a single plot project with Students. From there, with the help of volunteers, mentors, and various learning pods the farm was born in 2023. Josh and Ramana dreamed of having a commnuity focused biodynamic farm to learn and grow on, and they worked to bring Infinity Farm towards Demeter Biodynamic certification, to which it eventually received the status of “in conversion.”

When they started there was nothing but degraded pasture. Irrigation, sheds, bathrooms, and processes were all gradually put in while they learned on the job, planted green manures, sprayed 500, and grew test veggies to save seed from.

Ramana left infinity farm in 2024 to start his own farm project closer to home, and remains a close friend and collaborator here.

Due to the high costs of certification and the small scale of the farm, in 2025 Josh decided to join the BDGA (Biodynamic Growers Association) and pause Demeter certification.

The farm is currently managed by josh, and cared for together with volunteers and Wwoofers.
