OUR STORY

Hi! We are Josh and Narelle, and these are our kids Oliver, Willow, and Frankie.

The kids have grown a few years since this photo but the vision has remain unchanged: How can we create a community to support our own family along side other families in learning and living via regenerative principles?

  • We moved from Los Angeles at the end of 2020 at the height of the pandemic. We could never have imagined that our paths would lead to setting up a Center here on the southern tip of the Mornington Peninsula! But here we are…

Narelle has a background in yoga, meditation and Ayurveda. She is a post natal Doula specializing in innate wisdom for maternal well-being from womb to tomb. Josh‘s background is as a visual artist, photographer and commercial filmmaker. With a passion for all things meditation, biohacking, and personal development, Josh is also an ICF accredited Human Potential coach who works with individuals and as a facilitator of Men’s Groups.

Back in “the day” we would raise our children in a community, filled with the natural support network of elders and other members of the village.

We all know “it takes a village” but none of us are F%$#^ING doing it! These days, modern families are confined to distinct form of nuclear isolation. We go at it alone, in ways which end up being unsustainable on a personal level, inefficient on a financial level, destructive on an environmental level, and of course can end up exhausting relationships and our ability to show up as our best selves for our children.

As we slowly unfurled as parents after our first baby nearly 8 years ago,  like many modern families, we found ourselves largely isolated and depleted, navigating the new terrain without the guidance of embodied adults who could light the way, and lacking the support required to be able to continue to truly thrive as humans.

As we have grown as a family, we realize the lost opportunity for most of us to be initiated and exulted through the rite of passage to parenthood.

We now have 3 beautiful children, and have taken up the charge to create and hold space for families and individuals in the way that traditional culture has always honored life- but within modern context- through rhythm, healing, caregiving, shared resource, reciprocal relationships, ceremony and initiation.

It is our greatest wish to be able to facilitate space for individuals and families to be able to evolve in health, family life, creativity, spiritual connection and relationship to earth so that we can become embodied elders to the children in our presence and so that we may all remember the joy and celebration that is life.

We are forging a new way forward and The Revillaging Project is the entry point for so many of us to connect, share support, learn and evolve, and do it with joy and sustainability.
