LOCATION

We are located on Bunarong / Boonwurrung Land, also known as The Mornington Peninsula.

182 Browns Road, Boneo, VIC 3939

The 20 Acres- formerly a Buddhist Meditation Center- is comprised largely of ecologically essential wetlands connected to The Tootgarook Wetland, which is part of the Westernport Biosphere, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve.

We are currently open by appointment only. We offer regular weekly classes, as well as term-based programs and special events with our community of co-creators. Please be sure to book in with your facilitator directly.

  • The Tootgarook Wetland is the largest groundwater-dependent ecosystem and freshwater marsh in the region, with features of local, state and international environmental significance. A critical part of our natural environment, it plays a key role in supporting biological diversity, including distinctive plant species as well as waterbirds, fish, amphibians and reptiles during important life stages by providing roosting, nesting and feeding habitat as well as areas of refuge during extreme weather conditions.

We are currently working in collaboration with The MP Shire, Landcare Groups, Melbourne Water, and The Westernport Biosphere Foundation on regenerating and restoring this wetland, including plans to create an Indigenous Wetlands Education Center for the public.
