Spring Equinox Festival

As the Spring is blooming, and we experience this moment of balance between day and night, we invite you to gather with us for a heart-warming afternoon of community connection and seasonal celebration.

Our Spring Equinox Festival is a family-friendly, soul-nourishing afternoon to honour the season with ceremony, reflection, and connection. Come together on the grass, breathe into the new growth in the air, and feel into the beauty of what's emerging to bloom, as we head towards the peak of the year.

What’s happening:

  • 930am: Welcome & set up your space/picnic on arrival out on the grass. Play and seasonal natural craft activity for the little ones in the outdoor Children’s Village.

  • 10am: Smoking Ceremony & Seasonal Talk with Uncle Lionel of Living Culture, to open the space and honour Country

  • 11am: Bee Workshop: Learn about Native Bees and Honey Bees from Simon of Save the Bees Australia

  • 12pm: Lunch break - BYO picnic, with live music and fireside chats

  • 1pm: Chook Workshop: Learn about keeping chooks at home and meet our new farm chooks! With Jason from Talking Hens .

  • Or have an afternoon stretch in our Main Yoga Studio.

  • 2pm: Tree planting. A special time to to plant your own intentions for the coming season, with Josh & the team. Learn about the wetlands and give back to mother nature.

  • 4pm: Embodiment & Meditation practice in the Main Studio.

  • 5pm - 6:30pm: Connection & chats by the fire for sunset

Whether you come for an hour or stay for the whole day, this is a space to slow down, tune in, and celebrate life, together.

We'll have tea, chai, and snacks, which are included in your ticket, but please bring with you:

  • Any outdoor chairs, picnic rugs, blankets and cushions, or anything that will make you comfortable to sit outside on the grass or by the fire, or in the Meditation Room, or for walking around the Farm, for our different activities;

  • Your own picnic lunch, plus water and any additional snacks that you know will support you and your family through the day.

  • Clothing to keep you warm, inside and outside, including closed toe shoes, and wet weather gear if needed;

  • Anything else you think would be nourishing for you.

This event is free for Community Members, or $30 per Adult and $10 per Child. Tea, Snacks, and all workshops are included in your ticket price.

Our Living Culture talk is part of a series sponsored by Bendigo Community Bank Southern Peninsula which will continue seasonally throughout 25/26 and give us an opportunity to connect to Culture in a meaningful and ongoing way, grounded in what is happening in mother nature throughout the year.
