As the Spring is blooming, and we experience this moment of balance between day and night, we invite you to gather with us for a heart-warming afternoon of community connection and seasonal celebration.
Our Spring Equinox Festival is a family-friendly, soul-nourishing afternoon to honour the season with ceremony, reflection, and connection. Come together on the grass, breathe into the new growth in the air, and feel into the beauty of what's emerging to bloom, as we head towards the peak of the year.
What’s happening:
2pm: Welcome & set up your space/picnic on arrival out on the grass
2:30pm - 3:30pm: Smoking Ceremony & Seasonal Talk with Uncle Lionel of Living Culture, to open the space and honour Country
3:45pm - 4:30pm: A special time to tend the spring time farm to plant your own intentions for the coming season, with Josh & the team
4:45pm - 6:30pm: Connection & chats by the fire for sunset
3:45pm - 6pm: All afternoon Children's Village, with space to play & experience
Whether you come for an hour or stay for the whole afternoon, this is a space to slow down, tune in, and celebrate life, together.
We'll have tea, chai, and snacks for the afternoon, which are included in your ticket, but please bring with you:
Any outdoor chairs, picnic rugs, blankets and cushions, or anything that will make you comfortable to sit outside on the grass or by the fire, or in the Meditation Room, or for walking around the Farm, for our different activities;
A journal if you may want to take this time throughout the afternoon;
Clothing to keep you warm, inside and outside, including closed toe shoes, and wet weather gear if needed;
Water, and any additional snacks that you know will support you and your family through the afternoon; and,
Anything else you think would be nourishing for you.
This event is free for Community Members, or $30 per Adult and $10 per Child.
We’d love to welcome you as a member here.
Please ensure you book to confirm your place as places are limited.
We’re so looking forward to seeing you there.
Our Living Culture talk is part of a series sponsored by Bendigo Community Bank Southern Peninsula which will continue seasonally throughout 25/26 and give us an opportunity to connect to Culture in a meaningful and ongoing way, grounded in what is happening in mother nature throughout the year.
